Deleting is a very easy thing to do, and can save you a lot of trouble. In this tutorial, we’ll show you the different ways of deleting your history on your computer, iPhone and Android smartphone.
How do I delete my Opera history on a computer (Mac and Windows)?
Here’s how to do it:
- Open your history by combining the commands CTRL+H (for a Windows computer) or ⌘+Y (for a Mac)
- Click on “Clear browsing data”.

- Press the top-right menu, scroll to “Access full browser settings” and click on it
- Go to “Privacy & Security” and select “Clear browsing data”.
- Select the period you wish to delete; if you wish to delete your entire history, select “All periods”.
If you wish to delete your download history, simply click on “Advanced” at the top of the small window to the right of “Basic”. Then uncheck the options you don’t want, making sure to keep the selection for “Browsing history” and “Download history”.
- Finally, click on “Clear data”.
Your computer’s history is now empty.
How do I delete Opera’s history on Android?
This method is for Android smartphones, but it’s also possible for tablets:
- Open the Opera application, then tap on your profile photo at the bottom right of your screen
- Select “History”.
- Click on the trash icon at the top right of the screen
- A panel will open telling you that all your browsing history will be deleted, so all you have to do is click “OK”.
How do I delete Opera’s history on iPhone or iPad?
Here’s how:
- Open the Opera application and click on the menu at the bottom right of your screen
- Click on “History”.
- Click on the three small dots on the search bar, then click on “Clear History”.
- Finally, click on “Clear”.
