Text-to-Art image generation AIs continue to develop, and after the success of Midjourney, Bing continues to develop new features and create its own AI based on the same principle.
What is Bing Image Creator and how does it work?
Bing Image Creator is a new feature that lets you generate images from text. Microsoft has chosen to use DALLE-E created by Open AI as the backbone of its image creation tool. This means you should get good quality images if you write an explicit description. As with most image generators, you’ll be able to choose between more styles, from drawings to photorealism, so this new tool works best when you’re very precise and creative in your captions. You can then add details such as adjectives, locations and even artistic trends.
Is Bing Image Creator free?
For the moment, Bing Image Creator is free. However, users can exchange Microsoft Rewards points for additional boosters. Unlike ChatGPT, you don’t need to log in to OpenAI to use this tool. You don’t even need to have a DALL-E account. All you need is a Microsoft account and access to Bing.com.
How do I use Bing Image Creator?
Here’s how to get started:

Microsoft suggests structuring your prompt using an adjective, a noun, a verb and a style. For example, I asked: “A woman, brunette with glasses, holding a smartphone in her hand. She’s walking in the forest. Realistic. Golden hour.”
