MSI recently unveiled its new 32-inch curved gaming monitor, the MPG 321CURX, featuring QD-OLED technology. Aimed at demanding gamers, this model offers 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and a 240 Hz refresh rate, designed to ensure a smooth, immersive gaming experience.
The MPG 321CURX’s QD-OLED technology, supplied by Samsung, promises accurate colors, deep blacks and high brightness. The good thing about OLED panels is that the pixels on the black color are turned off, enabling blacks that couldn’t be deeper. This monitor also boasts an ultra-fast response time of 0.03 ms, making it particularly suited to competitive games where responsiveness is crucial.
To protect the OLED screen from the risk of marking or burn-in, MSI has equipped this model with several protective features, including Pixel Shift and Panel Protect, in addition to the “MSI OLED Care 2.0” suite, which includes specific detections to extend the screen’s life. What’s more, the monitor’s fanless design, made possible by a graphene film and custom heat sink, ensures quiet operation.
In terms of connectivity, the MPG 321CURX is well equipped with a USB Type-C port capable of delivering up to 98W, HDMI 2.1 ports, as well as KVM functionality to control multiple devices with a single keyboard and mouse. This model will be presented at Gamescom 2024 in Cologne and is priced at €1,399 in Europe.
