A recent leak revealed new details about the design and color options of the Pixel 8a, which will be the more economical version of the flagship Pixel 8 series. New leaked images shared by Evan Blass give us a glimpse of the Google Pixel 8a’s design, showing the phone from different angles. The smartphone will be available in four colors: Bay (blue), Mint (green), Obsidian (black), and Porcelain (white/beige). The screen features a perforation with rounded edges, contrasting with the flat edges of the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro models. The rear camera module retains the iconic horizontal stripe, housing two sensors and an LED flash.

The power and volume buttons are located on the right-hand side. The Pixel 8a appears to be a compact phone, ideal for those who prefer smaller devices. These images provide a more detailed look at the Pixel 8a, and it seems we now have a good idea of its overall appearance. Expected features of the Pixel 8a
The Pixel 8a could feature a 6.1-inch OLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness of 1,400 nits. The smartphone would be powered by the Google Tensor G3 chipset, the same used in the flagship Pixel 8 series. It should be available in two variants, with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB.
The Pixel 8a could have a 64 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), as well as a 13 MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, it would be equipped with a 13 MP front camera. The phone could also feature a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 27 W fast charging. On the software side, it should run Android 14.

The Pixel 8a would be priced at around €670 for the base variant with 128 GB of storage, and around €750 for the variant with 256 GB of storage.
