Apple fans are now eagerly awaiting the iPhone 16, which will be released in a few weeks’ time. The iPhone 16 Pro / Pro Max could be getting a new color, never before seen from Apple. It would be a titanium “bronze” color.
Apple, renowned for its sleek designs and attention to detail, innovates every year in terms of colors to bring a slight breath of fresh air.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max, for example, was available in four colors: Original Titanium, Blue Titanium, White Titanium and Black Titanium. These metallic hues, mastered to perfection by Apple, won over users with their elegant, modern finish. The Original Titanium version was also a huge success, making it the best-selling version.
However, with the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple seems to be going in a different direction. The new range abandons Blue Titanium, a low-seller compared with the others, in favor of a new option: Bronze Titanium.
An iPhone in Titanium Bronze
Bronze has long been associated with elegance and warmth. It’s a hue that stands out without being too showy. While Apple has done golden versions in yellow and rose gold in the past, here, a Titanium Bronze color for the iPhone 16 Pro Max is a bold choice.
iPhone 15 Pro Max vs iPhone 16 Pro Max colors
For consumers considering an upgrade, the choice of colors could play a decisive role. Indeed, someone who already has a white iPhone, won’t necessarily pick up a new white iPhone. As we’ve seen, Apple has released purple and green versions of its iPhones along the way at times, to boost sales. Here’s a comparison of the colors available for the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 Pro Max:
iPhone 15 Pro Max:
- Titanium Original
- Titanium Blue
- White Titanium
- Titanium Black (dark gray)
iPhone 16 Pro Max :
- Titanium Original
- Titanium Bronze
- White Titanium
- Black Titanium (perhaps darker than before)
The major change is the replacement of Blue Titanium by Bronze Titanium. The other colors remain unchanged, although subtle variations may appear depending on the lighting or materials used.
